A.R.Rahman , the guru of music performed a live orchestra for the people of Chennai on April 20th 2008. Several hits of Tamil and Hindi songs were sung. Times of India launched its chennai edition on Tamil new year day and to mark the launch it organized this mega event and issued free standing gallery passes to all its readers. luckily i got tickts, me and friends went to spot several hours before the starting time. The concert started by 6.45 pm. The music wizard showed up in front of a huge crowd with a bang, the song from "Guru". It went on till 11 pm. It was one of those days which i can never forget. thanks Rahman ji.
