Oh No it's April again

Chennai is a lovely city until it's April. You can still love Chennai in April if and only if you are visitor from "Mercury". The heat will become unbearable day by day as we head towards may.
We can see almost all girls will travel around the city like a terrorist covering the whole body with whatever they find just trying to protect their skin from intense heat. All people who are non coloured (White) will suffer from sun burns. Thats one thing guys like me who are coloured(black) can be proud of (Ooh Hoo.. We never get sun burns).

Lets hope that we get some summer showers and the monsoons begin early.

Tamil Nadu Elections 2011

April 13 2011 is the election date in Tamil Nadu (Holiday :)). To Whom Should I vote this time? In Tamil Nadu there are only two big parties (hope you know whom I mean) taking the power in a rotational manner. I learnt in school that everyone should cast their vote and it is one of the duties of the responsible citizen. I do want to be a responsible citizen but I am confused on how to choose a representative?. Do I have any another option by choosing not to vote and still be a responsible citizen?. yes I do. I read in today's paper that if anyone do not wish to elect any person in the list can record it as 49-o.

So those who do not wish to vote please record it as 49-o so that your vote cannot be misused.

Hats off to Tamil Nadu Govt

Last week my friends and I went to tirupati (April 2nd - World Cup Final - I know what you are thinking - Your reaction will be - Are you mad? What the hell you were doing on road when India playing the world cup finals?). We took the red hills - periyapalayam - uthukottai - tirupati road. The moment we crossed red hills and entered a state highway ( i think its sh 51) we found roads between patches. After we traveled around 50 km we reached Andhra Pradesh and the roads are awesome. While coming back we didn't use the signs to identify whether we have entered Tamil Nadu, the moment the car started dancing we shouted "Hooray we have reached Tamil Nadu".

Thanks to Tamil Nadu highways department. You make us proud.

When will we change

Nowadays it's becoming hard to find people who are honest. Day before yesterday I went to a motorbike service centre (authorized one), I told him all the defects and he noted it down in a sheet (God only knows why those sheets are maintained). Yesterday I went to take it back, he charged me 783 rupees and I found no difference except it was cleaned with some shiny material ( may be oil or may be grease) which I am damn sure is taken from my bike or some one else's bike which came for servicing. In addition to this these guys also looted some quantity of petrol from my bike.

Can't these people be honest for the 783 rupees they got from me?

I know I am writing this post after 6 months. Even I am not honest to myself since I said I will try to be active in blogging in one of my previous post.

Hope we change (only those who are not honest).
